LOVE TO THOSE WE LOST
Some things in life stand out: The love you give and receive. The people who are the sacred source of every breath you take, every beat of your heart. The art, literature, cooking, tasting, wet kisses, warm hugs, wasted time that was never wasted time, things you still want to do, places you still want to go. The loss of a loved one taken suddenly or expectantly, yet never expectant. The questions we all ask - Where do they go? Will I ever see them again? What would I say to them if they returned for 3 1/2 minutes? The moments you panic, the chances that passed you by, the magic that ignited your soul, your senses, every second, every moment you lived differently or the same, every thought you’ve kept to yourself, every choice you’ve made that wasn’t a choice at all. This thing, this life you live, how it travels, how it flows, is through the people who truly love you as you are, who surround you, protect you and are there when you lose your way.
